Job Description
  • Reporting directly to the Assistant Reservations Manager, the Reservations Agent is directly responsible for handling telephone enquiries, accepting reservations and the subsequent input in the computer system.
  • Strives to provide the most comprehensive and accurate information, to telephone callers, guests and other staff of the Hotel.
  • Ensure that the hotel has the best, most accurate and most personalized individual guest histories
  • Work closely with all Front Office and Sales & Marketing colleagues, and in particular, Sales & Marketing, providing lead advice and constant “feedback” concerning both enquiries and firm reservations.
  • Assists in maximizing the hotel’s occupancy potential, whilst protecting the hotel’s business mix.
  • Maintain a professional, yet friendly business manner in all guest and client liaison, personally, in correspondence and on the telephone.
Job Requirements
  • Secondary education
  • A positive and keen to learn attitude
  • Passion to deliver exceptional levels of guest services
  • Able to multi-task and detail oriented
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Able to work shift, weekends and public holidays
  • Competent in MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Opera system will be added advantage.
